Our Partners
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy works closely with several partners to accomplish its mission of supporting the preservation, enhancement, and interpretation of the Golden Gate National Parks. The Conservancy is an authorized "cooperating association" of the National Park Service, and is one of more than 70 such nonprofit organizations working with national parks around the country.
National Park Service
The National Park Service is a federal agency within the U.S. Department of the Interior charged with managing the preservation and public use of America's most significant natural, scenic, historic, and cultural treasures. The NPS manages the Golden Gate National Parks, as well as 390 other parks across the U.S. For more information, call (415) 561-4700.
The Presidio Trust
The Presidio Trust is the federal agency established by Congress in 1996 to preserve the Presidio of San Francisco as an enduring resource for the American people. The Trust has jurisdiction over the interior 1,168 acres of the former military post. For more information, call (415) 561-5300.
